The County of San Mateo will close the southern half of the Sawyer Camp Trail for two days, from the Skyline entrance to the Jepson Laurel at mile 3.5, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 9-10, for public safety during construction activities. The north half of the trail will be open from the Hillcrest entrance to the Jepson Laurel.

  1. Here we go again. We have long daylight hours and warmer weather, yet the trail is closed off and on all summer. Really not happy.

    1. Thank you for your comment. Our fine weather also allows construction to teams to move forward toward completion of construction projects like the County of San Mateo’s Skyline Bridge project. Unfortunately public safety is always a necessary priority. Though this particular closure was by the County of San Mateo, the SFPUC has elected to disseminate all such alerts to our stakeholders as a courtesy to them and the Parks Department. We hope they are helpful to you and others. Thank you, again.
