Harry Tracy Update: Upcoming Full Plant Shutdown

From February 16 through March 1, water treatment operations at the Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plant will shut down so that our Contractor can complete minor construction activities and run tests of new plant facilities. The plant has been under construction since March 2011 for seismic improvements and capacity expansions, including the construction of five new filters and a new 11 million gallon Treated Water Reservoir.

Work hours are expected to continue as usual: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our San Bruno neighbors may notice trucks along Crystal Springs Road between these hours. Pilot cars will continue to escort all trucks into the plant for safety and to ensure the speed limit is observed.

Our Contractor will also be replacing the fence between the plant and the Millbrae Meadows Swim Club on Helen Drive through approximately March 1. Please see the post below from February 6^th for more details.
