Work will
begin on our roadway next to Highway 280, furthest from residential areas.
Noise monitors will be present to ensure decibel levels are within the allowed
range. The project team has received permission from Cal-OSHA to muffle backup
alarms on construction vehicles to the immediate work area.
Neighbors
on Crystal Springs Road may notice trucks
delivering asphalt and removing soil from the plant. After 7 p.m., truck
traffic will be limited to 2 per hour. All trucks will be escorted by pilot
cars.
Regular
water treatment operations at the plant are currently shut down to allow for
construction. The plant is scheduled to resume water treatment in mid-December.
Major construction at Harry Tracy is on schedule and on track to finish by the
end of 2014.
Your
feedback will help us with noise mitigation. Please do not hesitate to call,
24-hours a day at (866) 973-1476.
