Tunnel Boring Machine to arrive at South Shaft in early July!

A tunnel boring machine and a crane will arrive at the South Shaft in early to mid-July. The tunnel boring machine will be assembled and stored on site and will be used this fall to bore the tunnel.

Tunnel boring machines are used to excavate tunnels through soil and rock. They can bore through hard rock, sand and almost anything in between.

The additional crane will also remain onsite as needed through construction.

10 MPH Speed Limit for Cars and Bikes on Crystal Springs at Polhemus

This is a friendly reminder that there is a 10 mile per hour speed limit for cars and bikes near the intersection of Crystal Springs Road and Polhemus Road at the North Shaft site. This is for the safety of everyone. It is a small speed limit zone and we ask everyone to use caution in the area and follow the speed limit.

Thank you!
