The second of four intensive concrete pours will occur at the Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plant on Tuesday, April 16th from 7 am to 7 pm.
As with last Tuesday, residents on Crystal Springs Road may require extra time to enter and exit their driveways. The project is conducting concrete “placement activities” to create the base slab for the new 11 million gallon treated water reservoir. This will require a large number of trucks travelling along Crystal Springs Road in San Bruno. Pilot cars will regulate the speed and number of trucks entering and exiting the plant gate. Long work days are necessary to ensure the concrete base slab has adequate time to dry.
We are making every effort to minimize construction impacts to surrounding neighborhoods. Please don’t hesitate to call our 24-hour phone line or email us with questions or concerns. The dates of two additional concrete placement activities will be posted here on our blog, www.sfwater.org/Peninsula, and will be available by email - email@example.com - and on our 24-hour phone line, (866) 973-1476.
