Harry Tracy Update: Only 80 Piles Left!

Pile driving for the new Treated Water Reservoir is nearing completion, with approximately 80 piles left to be driven out of more than 800 since early August. The pile driving is scheduled to wrap up by the end of next week.

You may notice the pile driving more intermittently, as the crew works on a section of bedrock that requires the piles to be “split.” The splitting is a quieter activity that uses the same equipment that drives the piles into the ground.

Concrete pours for the new foundation will also continue throughout October, approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Pilot cars will escort the trucks along Crystal Springs Road at all times.

Night work is not anticipated during the week of October 15th, but may occur during this shutdown period that extends into December.   Please subscribe to this site (see box at right) to receive automatic email updates with details and work hours for any night work that may be necessary.
