Welcome!

Welcome to this community blog and first line of communications for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's (SFPUC) Water System Improvement Program (WSIP) San Francisco Peninsula projects in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Of course, you may also reach us at 415-554-3204, but this blog will be able to provide 24/7 information about activities in the field as we move through construction on the peninsula.

Recently we have "broken ground" on the New Crystal Springs Bypass Tunnel project located along Polhemus Road and Crystal Springs Road in San Mateo. We will be providing you with updates as we construct the shafts and tunnel for this project. Please let us know your comments about the information we are providing, how the contractor is performing and other suggestions or questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you.
